Continuous and consistent citizen engagement is at the heart of all development agenda.The Africa Civil Society Platform on Principled Partnership (ACP) works with governments and development actors to ensure citizen voices, through Civil Society organizations, informs and shapes national development at all levels.Acppp is an Africa wide CSO's initiative on development effectiveness responding proactively and collectively to the shrinking space for democracy work across Africa. ACP works to strengthen active citizen participation in development by creating and supporting an enabling environment for civil society by creating and strengthening formal spaces and platforms for dialogue between Civil Society and Governments, supporting enactment of positive laws and policies that ensure freedom for civil society, and actively building Partnership between development actors based on principles of respect and recognition of all actors as key actors in Development.Read more.. .
